Certified respiratory educators can help patients take control of their Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), manage breathing and improve quality of life COPD Education Clinic: helps people understand how COPD affects the lungs, medications and why, when and how to take them, what causes a COPD “flare up” and how to avoid one, when to seek medical attention Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program: for people with chronic lung disease * offers education and exercise to help patients - become more physically active, learn how to manage breathlessness, improve quality of life These are virtual clinics and can be attended from home, using telephone, smart phone or computer |
