Requirements
Fees: Most services covered by OHIP * ADP may cover portion of devices
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Children and youth 18 years and younger who are unable to speak or whose speech is unclear, are working or have access to speech language pathology, and have one or more of the following: significant vision needs; difficulty using fingers to point/press buttons; or ability to use fingers to point/press buttons and can independently and functionally use 10 symbols within or across word classes on a communication system to express at least 3 different topics with 2 or more partners, or can use any combination of gestures and/or signs to express novel messages and whose receptive language is within normal limits
Application: Referral required if child is not a client of the hospital, or has not been seen within the past year
